Welcome to Hotchkiss FFA Chapter! We, the chapter leadership team would like to update you on the current events of our chapter!
This past June, the 2007-2008 Hotchkiss FFA Chapter officer team attended the Colorado FFA sponsored Chapter Officer Leadership Training (COLT) Camp in Bailey, Colorado for four days. During our stay in Bailey, we learned how to work together as a team and formulated ideas about how to make Hotchkiss FFA Chapter the best chapter in the state! Below we have posted our Mission Statement.
2007-2008 Officer Team Mission Statement:
We the 2007-2008 Hotchkiss FFA officer team will leave a legacy of accomplishing our goals and listening to each and every member with an open mind, by being responsible enough to communicate, having respect for ourselves as well as each and every member. In being dedicated to our members and each other by getting everything that we pursue done, and finally by being honest with our team and all of the members at all times!!
On June 5th, 6th, and 7th the Hotchkiss FFA packed up and headed to Cortez, to participate in the 79th Annual Colorado State FFA Convention. 18 members participated in the convention, with Ashley Hudson competing for a State Officer position and several members winning State Proficiency awards for their SAE projects.

On June 16th, the chapter hosted its 12th Annual June Classic Jackpot Show in Hotchkiss. At the June Classic Jackpot, 4-H and FFA members from around the state were allowed to come and exhibit their: Market Beef, Sheep, Swine & Goats and compete for a cash award and custom beltbuckle. Congratulations to all Participants & Winners!

The Week of August 5th-12th brought the excitement of the Delta County Fair to Hotchkiss. This year's theme was "Barnyard Boogie" and the Hotchkiss FFA members got their boogie on by participating in numerous events. The Chapter hosted Games In the park for elementary aged kids during the week, hosted the Annual FFA Dance to let the community Boogie and closed out the fair with our annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday.
