Between the Legs:When you're dribbling between your legs be
sure you're only using this tip at a good time. This move is
used to change direction. Once you're defended and you want
to switch direction you dribble with one hand then quickly
put one leg in front of the other (still dribbling) then
dribble through your legs while catching it with the other
hand then if you want you can continue dribbling the other
direction.
Crossover Dribble:This can be an easy tip to learn and will
also look cool. While you're dribbling with one and you
crossover to the other hand by taking one dribble to that
hand. Once you get the hang of it try dribbling lower.
Hesitation Move:Begin by dribbling fast past your defender
then slow down so that the defender thinks that your
stopping, fake a jump shot (don't stop then fake just act as
if you're going to make the shot) and then fly past your
defender.
Studder Step Move:Start by dribbling fast to the basket,
jump stop, then take a hard step towards the basket. You'll
find this easier to get past the defense while trying to
make a layup.
Figure 8 Dribble:This move can be done if you start out with
the "between the legs" tip. All you do is dribble through
one leg then the other over and over again until you want to
stop.
Keep in Mind:Your coaches will always like it if you can
dribble with both hands and they also don't like a
showoff.

B.E.E.F.:Remembering the word "Beef" can help you
remember all the steps on how to become a better shooter.
B-balance-make sure your on or behind the foul
line(depending on how far you jump while shooting)and
balance yourself. E-eyes-look at the rim. E-elbow-make sure
your elbow is in line with the basketball hoop. F-follow
through-make sure you do this while releasing the ball.
Balance in shooting:Your body has to be balanced and your
feet should be shoulder width apart so your able to get a
strong shot and your strongest foot should be a half step in
front of the other (whatever foot you put out should be at
the same side your strongest hand is shooting). Finally look
at the rim and follow through.
Form Shooting:This can be a good tip for beginners. Get a
partner and practice shooting at each others heads. This
should improve your technique for shooting.
Give your shot some arch:Make sure while shooting to give
your shot arch. This will give you a softer shot.
Good Shooters:While practicing your shooting skills make
sure to practice the shots you'll make in a game. If you
make alot of bad shots you probably won't make much in a
game.
Good Advice:When you begin practicing your shooting skills
try to shoot closer to the basket and then slowly shooting
farther away.
7-up:This is a good way to improve your skills in this one
player game. Start by shooting an easy shot (layups) and
shoot seven of those in a row. If you miss just start over
until you make every shot. After making seven shots move to
a more difficult position to shoot by making it six times.
Continue doing this until you reach one and when you reach
one, move to a very difficult position.
Shot Fakes:When you're going to shoot but there's a defender
in front of you you should use the shot fake and then step
around them for a layup.

Around the World:cirlcle the ball around your head,
knees, and waist.
Between the Legs Scissors:start with your left leg in front
of your left. Then starting with your right hand dribble
through your legs and catch the ball with your left. Swich

once you get the hang of it start dribbling faster.
Catch-Catch-Catch:Start off with your legs spaced away from
eachother. Then hold the ball in between your legs then
switch your hands back and forth quickly while catching the
ball.
Figure 8:Spread your legs apart from eachother then catch
the ball with one hand in between your legs quickly.Situp
